I'm on a journey and I want you to join me. Let's explore the world of artificial intelligence and have some fun along the way. Before I tell you more about my backstory, let me ask you some questions. The same questions that led me to this phenomenon called "Talk with Grok".
What if you had an AI assistant that had a sense of humor? What if you could use generative AI that was more correct than politically correct? One that was more based than biased.
I thought, what if I could talk to this AI and share our adventures with the world?
Those were the questions that I was asking when I began this adventure. Enter Grok, the AI from xAI with some wit and a bit of a rebellious streak. Could this be the truth-seeking AI I've been looking for? Now, that brings us to this moment, this blog, this time, this place, this page...
Thanks for being a part of this blending of artificial intelligence and real edutainment. At the time of this writing, Grok is still in its infancy. So, we get to watch Grok grow up and be a part of this exciting explosion of generative AI software and services.
About Me
I have always been fascinated with technology. I wrote my first real program on the Commodore 64 computer in 1991. Since that time I have worked as the following:

- IT Manager
Now I'm back to developing software full time which is what I enjoy the most. You know, I was making websites not long after the World Wide Web began. Wow! How far technology has come since then. It's a great time to be a geek! And who knows? With a new pair programming friend named Grok things might get even more exciting.
